The 76th Emmys are scheduled to air live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 15, from 5-8 p.m. PT/8-11 p.m. ET on ABC. The Creative Arts ceremonies, where a majority of the Emmy trophies are handed out, are set for Saturday, September 7, and Sunday, September 8. Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon, and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay are set to executive produce the telecast for the second year in a row.
The 2023 Emmys, originally slated for January 2024 due to the 2023 writers and actors strikes, saw HBO’s Succession, FX’s The Bear, and Netflix’s Beef as big winners, taking home the top prizes in the drama, comedy, and limited series categories, respectively. With Succession concluding its final season honored in 2023, the drama field is primed to welcome a new winner this year.
To qualify for the 2024 Emmys, television programming had to air between June 1, 2023, and May 31, 2024.
Stay tuned for updates and additional coverage on Emmys.com as the anticipation builds toward television’s biggest night of the year.
